Uncle and Takafumi are enjoying their company in the house, and Uncle brings out the book on Sega Saturn’s Ranking. This book dates back 17 years. After glancing at the ranking, Uncle is furious after seeing the rank of the Guardian Heroes game. He notices that the game is ranked 197th on the list, whereas he believes the game should be ranked number one. To divert Uncle, Takafumi gifts Uncle the Sega Saturn console game, which makes Uncle extremely happy.
Takafumi asks Uncle how he prefers to celebrate the New Year in another world, and Uncle displays all the events of the same to him. While being on the same topic, Uncle tells the story of how he saved a warrior Mabel. He has used ice manipulation magic by slaying the red dragon. In the second half, Takafumi encounters Sumika on his way home and informs him to drop by his apartment. Sumika doesn’t find anyone, and when Uncle comes flying in, he thinks of her as an enemy. Takafumi tells Sumika about his uncle, and here we see a new character listening to Uncle’s story.
