DanMachi is making its way back soon with a new season! After seven years and three seasons, DanMachi is coming with Season 4. So, let’s celebrate the excitement of season 4 with a recap of DanMachi season 3. The story takes place in a fantasy world, and gods live with humans to entertain themselves. Gods create groups named Familias, and the largest Familias become the small armies. Most of the Familias is full of adventurers who are competent to explore the Guild’s huge, monster-infested dungeon under Orario. Adventurers in Orario are frequently well-known and wealthy, although rivalry between adventurers and Familias may be fierce.

In Season 3, Bell crosses paths with a crying young monster. Instead of killing the monster, he decides to adopt him. The idea is risky and absurd, but somehow, Hestia and their Familia accepts Bell’s wish. In starting, they kept the monster hidden at the base of Hestia Familia. Naming it Wiene, they teach him to speak and interact. One day, Wiene runs away because it eavesdrops on a conversation and gets discovered. That puts Hestia Familia in danger of protecting a monster and probably being separated.
Major development is being watched by the rarely found leader of the gods on Earth, Uranus, and Bell and his team find themselves in the middle. Bell has been told that Wiene is a part of a group of monsters who has human thoughts and feelings and can speak; the group is called Xenox. Uranus has been supporting them for decades with the help of Fels, his skeleton sage. A crazy monster collector named Dix Perdix abducts Wiene after Bell tries to help Xenos; she gets raged and goes on a rampage, so the crazy monster collector asks adventurers not to kill Wiene.
Bell and Hestia Familia are enemies to adventurers, especially Ais and the Loki Familia. Bell has found a new ally named Aisha, a leading fighter of the Ishtar Familia and a close friend of Haruhime, who recently joined the Hermes Familia. Hestia Familia starts working with Xenox monsters and Fels to help get Wiene back and put them in the dungeon so they can live peacefully. Bell manages to stop Ais, who has a wish to kill Wiene. But he lets her go because of her humanity as this season 3 ends.
What To Expect From DanMachi Season 4?
DanMachi Season 4 is most likely to put the focus on exploring the dungeons. We will not be spoiling here. It will be around the character of Ryuu Lion. It has incredible fighting skills and no attachment to any group or Familia. Ryuu pretends to be cold, but she has a close relationship with Bell and decides to help him from a distance.
The new season will start with discoveries. New friendships and new challenges await in season 4 of DanMachi. And we cannot be any more excited to see what will happen next!
