Yasuki Tanaka wrote and illustrated the manga, Summertime Rendering. The animated version of the same was adopted by OLM in April 2022. These marks make him wonder if she drowned or if she was strangled. Later in his dream, Ushio asks him to save their other sibling Mio. Shinpei’s hometown is full of evil beings. After this dream, Shinpei looks further into Ushio’s death to find out missing facts and ensure there is no harm to anybody else.

In this episode, Shinpei’s meeting with his friends comes to a halt when he sees himself making sandwiches in the kitchen. This leaves him wondering if he died while kickstarting the seventh loop. Mio and Ushio break him the news that he was killed by a Sniper.

This news upset Shinpei as he realizes he is most probably killed by the shadow using Nezu’s riffle. This leads him to the only indication that Nezu is dead. Ushio breaks this thought once again by telling him that she didn’t feel the presence of the shadow. She also tells him that the rifle bullet that had hit him was very much real. This riffle was not a copy.
Snhipei understands that he had made a mistake on his part by sending Nezu all alone to scout in the forest. The guilt makes him fall all over the place. This also makes him realize that he truly messed up.
