Eighth-grader Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama tapped into his inner source of psychic abilities from a young age. However, he recognizes the potential dangers in his abilities, so the power soon proves to be the one to blame. Currently, he only uses his abilities to impress his long-time unrequited love, Bud. Tsubomi soon tires of the same tricks.

Now, exorcising evil spirits on command is part of the mob’s monotonous daily life. But the psychic energy he wields is far from the tip of the iceberg. As his vast potential and irrepressible emotions run amok, a cataclysm is triggered that renders him completely unrecognizable. The progress of the mob explosion is accelerating, and it is futile to try to stop it.

Mob Psycho 100 tells the story of a middle school student named Shigeo Kageyama, nicknamed “Mob,” who lives in Seasoned City. From an early age, he possessed amazing mental powers. However, this esper power cannot give him what he most desires, which is to be friends with the girls in his favorite class.

Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Episode 2 Preview

The series is based on the life of a clumsy high school student who is arguably the most powerful psychic in the world. As strong as he has psychic abilities, there are many things in his life that he cannot control. Together with his boss and mentor, the prolific bullshit Reigen Arataka, he learns how to fight his own battles and even when to run away from danger.

Season 3 of the hugely popular series sees Mob, Reigen, and Serizawa dealing with their problems while continuing Reigen’s ghost-hunting business. The mob is on a mission to figure out what to do with their lives and futures. Serizawa, on the other hand, wants standardized schooling that she has never had before. Dance is, well, dance is dance and all that goes with it.

Mob Psycho 100 is a series that favors a Monster of the Week story while maintaining a tight, overarching narrative. The first episode of the final season is expected to be no different in that it will begin with dancing and mobs defeating ghosts, just like her previous two episodes. Only this time, they live in a town that features giant broccoli as an attraction, thanks to the climax of Season 2.

Mob Psycho 100 Plot

Mob-Psycho

“Mob” is a boy who explodes when his emotional capacity reaches 100%. He is a boy with supernatural powers and is nicknamed “Mob” because he does not stand out. He stores psychic powers so that he can live a normal life, but when his emotional level reaches 100, something overwhelms his entire body. The psychic middle school student tries to live a normal life and control his growing powers while constantly getting into trouble.

Shigeo Kageyama, also known as Mob-Kun, has very powerful psychic powers, but he doesn’t want to use them. Honestly, the actual story may look very boring at first, but the series itself is well thought out, well adapted, and most importantly, the story behind the hit series ONE PUNCH MAN. Well, run by his one teacher, who is the only one.

The two series are nearly 60% similar in structure, making them very difficult to separate. With mighty powers, action battles, idiosyncratic comedy, and simply charming characters, comparisons may be inevitable. However, I think Mob Psycho 100 has more depth than One Punch Man. I may not want to dig too deep, but I would like to point out that although there are similarities, these are two completely different series.
