Arknights: Prelude to Dawn is the latest anime series, announced by Yostar pictures in the month of October 2022. Arknights: Prelude to Dawn is an adaption of our favorite tactical RPG/Tower defense mobile game Arknights. As Arknights is a Chinese game famous all around the world, Yostar pictures have made a big move to convert the game into animation series.
As fans are expecting a lot from Arknights: Prelude to Dawn, even Yostar Pictures is trying hard to provide viewers with stunning visuals while keeping the authenticity of the game Arknight. Arknight fans were waiting eagerly for this anime adaption as Yostar announced the release in 2021 itself.
Consequently, it seems that fans’ wait was worth it because the first episode has already surprised fans as they got to see more than what was expected. As the first episode has already been aired, fans just can’t wait for the second episode as they are eager to know what kind of intriguing shocks they are going to get next.
Arknights – Prelude to Dawn: All You Need To Know
Imagine waking up in a hospital and seeing Amiya, a gorgeous girl who gets thrilled when she sees you and tries her best to heal you. You can’t even tell what’s going on around you, and you don’t even recognize her. Sad Amiya explains everything to you and also addresses you as a doctor. That is what happens in the game, and you are the Doctor and the primary protagonist.
Amiya drags you into the battle even though you have no idea what is going on. Nevertheless, you choose to take charge of the team of operators, placing the right operator in the right place and engaging in combat with the terrorist organization known as The Reunion.
The world has entered an apocalyptic crisis, and a natural calamity has occurred, boosting the power of a material called Originium. Slowly, the amnesiac Doctor learns this information. The highly contagious disease known as Oripathy, which crystallizes a person’s body, is caused by the mineral originium.
However, it also makes them more powerful by providing them access to magic, commonly known as Originium Arts. On the planet Terra, the diseased individuals are not given good care. People who have not been affected commit all kinds of crimes against them.
The Reunion is the terrorist group of those infected people who are furious for not getting proper treatment. They are fully armed and waging war against the governments to fight prejudice. The main character of Arknights, the Doctor, belongs to Rhodes Island, and a group from Rhodes Island is trying to find a cure for Oripathy.
The Doctor and his team are currently stuck in Ursus city, where the war has emerged. However, to find the cure Doctor must reach Rhodes Island as soon as possible. The instructor, Dobermann, assures the Doctor and the members of Rhodes Island that she will assist them in escorting the Doctor and the team to Rhodes Island.
As all of the Rhodes Islanders are stranded in between, Doctor must bear responsibility for making it to Rhodes Island in time while handling all of the obstacles he encounters.
