Reincarnated as a sword will surely attract attention for its unique story. It is the first season of a new anime franchise and is a Fantasy, Action, Remake, and Isekai Anime directed by Ishihira Shinji, who has also worked on popular films such as Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, My Hero Academia, Fairy Tail, Seven Deadly sin, etc.
The soundtrack is directed by Huta Shouji, who had also arranged the music for One Punch Man, Fairy Tail, Vineland Saga, Spy X Family, etc. Reincarnated as Sword Episode 7, also known as Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita 7.
The plot of Reincarnated as a sword Episode 7
The Series is about a man reincarnated as a sword in a fantasy world. When he awoke from his eternal sleep, he found himself unable to move. Then he slowly realized that he was stuck in a rock, waiting for someone to remove him. When some of the ghosts tried to take the sword for himself, he quickly cut them off, realizing that he could absorb the stones and strengthen himself at the same time.
With this knowledge, he killed the demons left and right and gained so much power that he wanted to capture his ruler. On the other hand, we see Fran, who was captured by other slave traders who also abused her. She is an orphan and has nowhere to go. But there is a chance to bring the sword and the girl’s face together. Finally, they gave each other a name.
Fran decides that the sword will be called the clergy (Teacher) because it looks like a priest to him, and the priest tells him to keep the lost name long before he becomes a slave. Together, they embark on their journey to become one of the most powerful anime couples of all time while also making new friends. But his journey is not at all fun and games as he encounters many demons, especially ghosts, who destroy the peace in the world.
Recap of the Last Episode
At the end of the last episode, we saw a new character who thought Frank was lying about the crystal in Ghost. Why he does this and what he wants are the focus of the next chapter. Fran, struggling, realizes she is no longer defending herself. He wanted to fight because he wanted to evolve, but now he wants to defeat this demon because he wants to protect the people who joined him.
Luckily, thanks to a good plan, Fran is able to accomplish his dream. He obviously could not have achieved such an impossible victory alone. And yet, the Master here shows us why he’s an anime hero, and not that Fran is the dominant MC of this universe, but still.
He is simply one of the best instructors of anime who protects and guides his student in every way. We also see that he is the strategist between the two who knows when to strike and where he will suffer the most.
This episode was full of action scenes and revealed more secrets about the prison to the viewers. The fact that the Dungeon Master is the soul of the prisoner, and by killing him, you can completely destroy everything else inside, information that will come in handy in the future. The returning theme of leveling up is also on display here, and Fran gains access to a power that can easily change the tide of any battle.
Episode 6 was a fun and entertaining episode that didn’t exceed or live up to my expectations. Again, this anime is heavily written by people who love isekai, so I recommend watching the show with that information in mind. So far, pacing hasn’t been an issue, and not many significant characters have been introduced yet. But it’s an anime that you’ll keep coming back to every week for the cute characters and funny stories.
