As a result, Luffy gets his hands out of Kaido, and Kaido mentions that he doesn’t have to grab him because he is not going to run away. Not only that, Kaido even protects himself from future attacks from Luffy by making a cover all around his body with the help of his flame technique.

We also see Kaido reminding Luffy that 20 years ago, a hero of this country was burned to death while referring to how he killed Kozuki Oden. He says that since that day, the Wano country has been lawless, and Luffy and the other Sumurai are the heroes that the people of the country have been waiting for 20 years.

This is when Luffy finds out that he will have to use Ryou to defeat Kaido without even touching him so that he will protect himself from the flames.

Cut to the inside of Skull Dome, we find out that all the Samurai and allies are praying for the victory of Luffy, and the people in the Fire Festival started writing their wishes on the Sky Ships to remove Orochi from power.
