Project GI and sports anime is a match made in heaven. One would think that they would drop in quality at one point, but their consistency remains spectacular. Just with three episodes, Ao Ashi has set fire to the hearts of Sports anime fans, making them count the days when the next episode will air. The Episode started simply with people selected for the final round. After that, they will be part of Esperion. Everyone is visibly nervous, unable to keep their nerves in check. Only Aoi was the one to recommend talking things out before the match began and getting to know each other as teammates. Aoashi episode 4 is next on the list!!
There is a sad reality to these types of events in sports anime. Getting to know characters to see them getting disqualified in the final test. So for the part where you get to know every one of the semi-finalists might sting later when the character leaves. Luckily, writers don’t give ostensible traits to the character that might leave just after three episodes. But it’s a giveaway by just looking at their hair. The last Episode of Ao Ashi escalates slowly to establish slowly how things are not in favor of the finalists and who the villain of this match is.
Ao Ashi episode 4
Esperion’s coach was surprised when Akutsu suddenly asked to be part of the final match. Fukuda Tatsuya ( the coach) was wary but let him play anyway. We see soon why, and that doesn’t bode well for Aoi. Akutusu isn’t far from being a bully who feels threatened when someone with higher charisma comes into the fray. And Akatsu doesn’t hide his intention either. But the way he makes them known to Aoi is twisted and sick. He first acts as a supportive upperclassman who is looking out for the young one by being encouraging. The act drops right after the first half of the final match for selection ends. He makes it known to Aoi that he isn’t needed here and should go back home since he can’t afford shoes.
