They have been together for forty years now. Let’s have a look at the everlasting couple and their fairytale love story.
How It Started Between Jamie and Christopher
Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest’s relationship is a typical fairytale romance. She fell for him before he did. She saw his photo in Rolling Stone with Michael McKean and Harry Shearer, and after five months, they both tied the knot. When she saw him, she was with the late Debra Hill, and she said to her that she would marry the guy.
Debra was a producer and was trying to connect with Christopher for a movie. Jamie called his agency and left her number for him to call, but he never called. Destiny was on their side. Soon both Jamie and her love met and had an encounter in a dining establishment, but they never shared any actual conversation.
He just nodded in her direction as a gesture but never actually said any words to her. Jamie did say hi to him and also said that she was the one who called him. After this, Christopher got up from his seat and made a beeline for the door after waving goodbye in her direction.
God listened to her prayers or but next, she received a call from his number. The day was June 28, 1984, and exactly four months later, they tied the knot on December 28. 2 years after their marriage, the couple adopted their first daughter, Annie, on December 13, 1986, followed by adopting their second daughter, Ruby, in 1996. In 2021, the couple told that their second daughter, Ruby is transgender.
