The series continues the 1982 film of the same name, featuring two horror stories per episode. On September 26, 2019, the series premiered. It was announced that Creepshow will be getting a second season on the 30th of October in the year 2019 itself. A Creepshow Animated Special was released on October 30, 2020.

The announcement that A Holiday Special will be released came on 10th November 2020. It was called A Creepshow Holiday Special are aired on 18th December that year. Creepshow season two came out on April fools day this year that is on the 1st of April. It was confirmed on 18th February that it will also be getting a third season.

The show’s original premiere was announced in the month of July 2018, almost a year before Creepshow actually came out. It was also revealed that Greg Nicotero would be the producer of the series, and Shudder will distribute it. Creepshow Season 3 Release date is on 23rd September this year. Shudder, the horror streaming service, will be streaming the third season of the show. In addition, AMC+ subscribers can watch Season 3 of Shudder through this bundle.  For those who want to catch up on season 2 before watching the third season, the show’s second season is airing on AMC’s cable line-up. This airing of the show’s second season began on 6th September, and soon Creepshow Season 3 will be following.

What to expect from Creepshow Season 3?

Creepshow has featured a roster of heavyweight actors, including Kiefer Sutherland, Justin Long, Giancarlo Esposito, Joey King, Kid Cudi, and Tobin Bell.  The production of the series is being done by Nicotero. The cast of the popular show Walking Dead such as Josh McDermitt, C. Thomas Howell, and Cailey Fleming have made appearances in the earlier seasons of Creepshow. We will just have to wait and watch if more of them will make an appearance in Creepshow Season 3.

In this third inning of season 3, there are “12 new tales of terror,” from fortune-telling gone wrong to an obvious nod to The Shining. In addition to Ethan Embry, King Bach, James Remar, Johnathon Schaech, Reid Scott, and Hannah Fierman, Micahel Rooker stars as yet another familiar face from The Walking Dead. Just like the past two seasons, we assume that Creepshow season 3 will also follow the same suit. We expect them to show two short stories in every episode of the series.

Critics praised the series. There are a total of twenty-nine reviews on the show in Rotten Tomatoes. The approval rating of the show is 97%, and out of ten, the show gets a rating of 7.7. According to critics, “Creepshow captures the spirit of the original while charting its own path.” On Metacritic, the series received a weighted average score of 64 out of 100, indicating “generally favourable reviews.”

The Creepshow movies all have one director. But that is not the case when it comes to the series. There are multiple directors for the show, and they include David Bruckner and Roxanne Benjamin. The others are Rob Schrab, John Harrison. We have also got Greg Nicotero and Tom Savini directing the show.

On January 16, 2019, it was announced that one of the segments of the pilot episode will be based on a story by Stephen King from his 1985 collection Skeleton Crew, “Survivor Type”. It was eventually decided not to use this story for the first season but rather to use it in the 2020 animated Halloween special.

In February 2019, Atlanta, Georgia, was the primary location for the series’ photography. A COVID-19 pandemic shut down production in March 2020, so Season 2 began filming in September 2020 instead of March.

Two novellas inspired by the TV series Creepshow: The Taker have been published by Scholastic Books. The writer of these was Elley Cooper. In addition to Creepshow: The Cursed, Elley Cooper is also writing Creepshow: The Cursed, due out on April 28, 2021.

Universal Parks & Resorts announced on August 3, 2019, that Creepshow would be coming to Halloween Horror Nights exclusively at Universal Studios Hollywood.
