Good Luck to You, Leo Grande: Ending Explained

Nancy preface by saying she doesn’t want to feel young again but wants to get over the ghost of the past. Leo is calm and collected throughout their exchange and is inclined to help her with her fears. Nancy is still not convinced but talking to him calms her down. Their night together is uneventful, but Nancy looks forward to another session. When she booked him for a second, she decided to go out with him and handed him a list. The list contained all the acts and positions she had wanted to try since forever. Leo agrees again, but their tryouts fail, and Nancy is in trepidation again. Leo tells her not to worry about everything on the list, leading to their second consulting session.

The second session brings forth the problems both of them have been facing. Nancy has been stalking Leo in the act of frenzy and asks him to tell him more about his past. Leo doesn’t concede but is disturbed by it. The retired widow apologizes, but Leo storms out of the room. Remembering he didn’t have his phone on him, he retrieved his phone but told Nancy about his disownment.

The duo confronts each other for the final time at the hotel’s cafe, and Nancy reveals her real name is Susan. Leo, now calm after a week, tells of why his mother disowned him. When he was in group sex, his mother caught him and never talked to him again. The cross intervention clarified both the characters and they went down their paths. Nancy/Susan is seen admiring her body at the end of the movie Good Luck to You, Leo Grande.
