Sometimes, she feels like an outsider in her own family because she is very responsible, unlike them. Anne got engaged to Fredrick Went worth played by Cosmo Jarvis. Frederick Wentworth was devastated and heartbroken when he came to know about it. Just like Anne, Frederick loved his partner too. He felt very disrespected and decided to make a name for himself in the navy. Later, he becomes the captain and comes back to the town. Though heartbroken, he can still not take his eyes off Anne. Persuasion Movie Review

Cannie Cracknell, the director of the movie “Persuasion,” has, for some reason, modernized the film. It is based on 18th-century drama, so it should be related to that time and period. However, she has made the best decision in casting Dakota Johnson as Anne Elliott, as she has done justice to her character. Whenever someone reads a book, they make an image of the character in their head and live by it forever. Dakota has presented Anne in a way that everyone has created in their mind. Cosmo Jarvis, too did justice to the role of Frederick Wentworth. He shows the progress of Frederick from being a poor man to the respected captain of the navy in a most presentable way. Director has made viewers wait for almost 100 minutes to see Anne and Frederick’s expression of love for each other.

The movie is streaming on Netflix. If you want to watch something wholesome and feel good, this movie is for you. That’s it for the review of the movie Persuasion.
