The film revolves around a bachelor who has to babysit his brother’s notorious teenager under certain circumstances. In the movie, Bob and his wife and three children shift places due to Bob’s promotion. Bob has a younger brother Buck who is just the opposite of Bob. Unlike his brother, Buck lives in a small apartment and spends his days smoking cigars and drinking till he forgets his miseries. His income comes from betting on horse races that are often rigged. He also has a complicated love life; his girlfriend wants to get married and start a family, but Buck is not ready for that kind of lifestyle.

The twist in the film comes when Bob’s wife has to rush back home with Bob for a family emergency. This is when Bob asks his brother Buck to come and take care of his children. It is a fun watch to see a personality like Buck babysitting children, especially Bob’s elder son, who has hit puberty. Coming back to the filming location of the film, the movie was shot in the exteriors of Chicago along with many other locations and landmarks.
