He is set to make this mission successful, and the satellite weapon can cause a global financial meltdown. The movie has glimpses of the Soviet Union and its chemical weapons, giving it an edge. Bond has to stop  Xenia Onatopp, a prominent member of the Janus Crime Syndicate, from stealing a Eurocopter Tiger attack helicopter, but sadly Bond fails. This blast leads to releasing all satellite systems in our orbit above. After this, Bond has to stop the enemy from stealing the ” GoldenEye ” satellite weapon to prevent a great amount of destruction.

Returning to where GoldenEye was filmed, the movie was shot in various locations. It had shots from places like Switzerland, Russia, Puerto Rico, and France. More specifically, the movie had its scenes in many places from these locations. Some of these places are- Monte Carlo, Cuba, Leavesden, and Hertfordshire, amongst other places.
