Kung Fu is back this fall with yet another eagerly awaited season. This contemporary American sports-drama series portrays a young Chinese American woman who is coping with personal concerns that drive her to drop out of college. She then begins a life-altering journey to a remote Chinese monastery. Its popularity grew and made the series come back for another season.

The plot is such that the flow of scenes is gripping, always leaving the fans with the feeling of wanting more. Not only is the story exceptional, but the casting and acting of the sequences are exceptional, which explains why the television series is always on the rise in popularity. More than that, I think the Asian representation takes the cake. Christina M. Kim, who also serves as co-showrunner, created the show.

This season’s fights are more personal and different for Nicky than in previous seasons, according to the series’ writer, Robert Berens. Additionally, he said to anticipate the mysterious reappearance of the characters Pei Ling and Zhilan to observe their development and how they interact with our main character Nicky.

Nicky Shen, the show’s main lead, isn’t your stereotypical Asian girl whose only character trait is martial arts; she’s much more. And this drama predominantly features an Asian cast, which is unusual in Hollywood. Olivia Liang plays Nicky Shen. Ben Levin plays this season’s new character, Bo, who assists Nicky in fighting a new foe.

Zhilan is once again played by Yvonne Chapman this season. However, the second season finale depicts Zhilans’s passing. Liang has stated in numerous articles and interviews that her character is darker this season than in previous seasons.

Kung Fu season 3 episode 5: preview

Kung Fu season 3, episode 5, is named Harvest. The title itself gives you little to nothing. Nicky, our protagonist, already has concerns over her restaurant. Adding to that, she has to figure out how to help Pei Ling, which forces her to put things with Bo on the back burner. On the other hand, when Sebastian, on the other hand, expresses to Mei-li his concern about corporates’ growing oversight of the restaurant, a local politician is robbed of some valuable research.

The writers are clearly ready to throw the fans into a spiral of stress and drama. And this is only the fifth episode. And things are taking an intense turn. Can’t imagine what the upcoming weeks are going to bring to the small screens.
