Episode 4 “Finding no one”
Jamila wants everyone to be present for the grand opening of J-Braids, but Dexter’s training as a long-haul truck driver gets in the way of that, and Jamila’s mother, Jo, also gets in the way, causing things to go wrong. Yaz is surprised when Shawn unexpectedly shows up at her place of employment, where he gets into a jealous dispute with Porter. Cassandra, his new lover, and Marilyn, his ex-wife, get into a fight over Raymond’s visit. Episode 6 was aired on 22 October 2022.
Episode 7 “Finding the worry”
Shawn surprises Yaz and starts a jealous quarrel with Porter at her place of employment. In order to promote a designer’s flagship launch, Yaz’s coworker Chanel schedules “It’s Ya Girl Yaz” and advises Yaz to try a daring new look. Porter is informed by executives of D-1 Media that Princess Charles needs to grow more. His new girlfriend, Cassandra, and his ex-wife Marilyn get into a fight over Raymond’s visit. A sneak peek into episode 8, “Finding a good day” of Finding Happy
After finding that the video she surreptitiously recorded of Princess Charles has been made public, Yaz is terrified that she will lose her job and decides to call in sick so that she may spend time with Jamila. The two cousins debate the potential implications Jamila’s secret may have on her relationship with Dexter while they are at the Black Hair Museum in Atlanta.
Yaz can connect this information to her past. Jamila becomes obsessed with getting revenge against Chanel when Yaz reveals that the video leak has occurred. Even though he is keeping his personal affairs a secret, Dexter is happy for Jamila whenever she receives good news.
