The movie premiered on 18 July 2022 in Paris, and later, on 5 August 2022, it was publically released in the United States of America. The movie consists of an action comedy. Bullet Train is an adaptation of the novel Maria Beetle (Bullet Train) by Kotaro Isaka. The novel was inspired by the high-speed bullet train, Tokaido Shinkansen.
The crew consists of David Leitch as the director, Elisabet Ronaldsdottir taking care of editing and Dominic Lewis in charge of the music, and Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, and Antoine Fuqua as the producers. The movie was distributed with the help of Sony Pictures Releasing. With a budget of $90 million, Bullet Train made an earning of $240 million. After its theatrical success, the movie was then released on Netflix also.

Bullet Train Ending Explained
An unlucky assassin named Ladybug, who has had awful missions, hopes to find a more peaceful and comfortable mission. But like I said, he is lucky to even after wanting to work peacefully on his next mission, he will travel to Japan, and there he would face the Yakuza with the whole story revolving around the bullet train.
The bomb that was supposed to kill the White Death was locked inside the briefcase. So when he opens it, he will die. But Prince already knew that this would not work, and just like she thought, instead of himself, the White Death ordered his men to open it, and as a result, he escaped the blast.
With his best effort, Lemon, after gaining consciousness, tries to control the train. But, the situation was already gone. The control is lost. And now he is trying to stop the rain and avoid getting into any collision. But unfortunately, Lemon gives an ultimate sacrifice to protect Ladybug from getting killed by the members of the Yakuza.
The White Death, who was supposedly sliced by the Elder with the help of his katana, was alive. After the train collided with the chunks, the White Death came out with the proper intention of killing Ladybug.
Holding a gun, the White Death approaches Ladybug, but he doesn’t know the gun was corrupted by the Prince. Earlier, Prince knew that it would be difficult to kill the White Death with the briefcase, which is why she put a small bomb inside the gun.
As the White Death pulls the trigger, the bomb explodes in his face leading to his death. After his death, Elder, Yuichi, and Ladybug finally take a deep breath as the mission is finally completed. After they all leave, we see Prince rising from the train chunks.
As earlier, we thought she died from the collision, but she is unharmed. After she comes out, knowing that the White Death is no longer in this world, she declares herself as the new White Death. And as she escapes the collision, while on the road, she is hit by a truck that was carrying Tangerine. After this, the movie ends.
Will There Be a Bullet Train Part 2?
The film got an IMDb rating of 7.3. The audience loved the film. The audience came out on social media and explained what they liked about the movie. Some said the character dynamic in this film was too could. Not just Ladybug but the audience enjoyed the characters of Elder and Lemon.
The combination of action and comedy was well mixed. The audience didn’t feel like the film was being focused on only one genre. Instead, they perfectly balanced the genres, and that is one of the reasons people with different tastes enjoyed it.
As of Dec 2022, no official announcement has been made regarding the second part of Bullet Train. It is understandable after how the movie ended. It would leave a lot of unsolved queries. The audience has some thoughts on this:
