Initially, the cause of death was not known; later, the news got out that it was a suicide. There was a gunshot wound on his head, and this was the cause of death. His death was confirmed by his wife, and she broke this news to the world.
According to her, tWitch apparently walked away from their home and rented a Los Angeles hotel. He did not even take his car. It was inside this hotel that he took his life. He was 40 years old when he committed suicide.
