Puss In The Boots is a computer-animated adventure comedy film under Universal Pictures. The character is created from Shrek and also a fairy tale. It is a European anthropomorphic cat in the fairy tale that uses illegal ways to trick people, wealth, and a princess for his poor little master.

The oldest version was Constantino Fortunato in Italian for Lucky Constantino by Italian author Giovanni Francesco Straparola. Puss in the Boots made its debut in Shrek 2 in 2004, voiced by Antonio Banderas, who got his own film franchise.

He is the longest-running character in the Shrek series. Pus was a cat abandoned at a young age found by Humpty Dumpty, with whom he went looking for magic beans for the Golden Goose.

Puss The Adventurer

Humpty had revenge in his mind, so he framed Puss for stealing the beans and for abandoning him all those years. Kitty helps Humpty forgive Puss, and Humpty sacrifices for letting him escape from jail, and Puss and Kitty become new partners in another city.

In Shrek 2, he was the assassin hired to kill Shrek, but after asking for his forgiveness, he teamed up, and Donkey was his new enemy.  He has a Spanish accent and sword moves. In the fourth film, he was gone in 2010. No one knows what made the cat leave the franchise that was so much in love with him.

His absence has left an empty spot that is not easy to fill or replace. In Shrek 2 and three, he was pretty much the important adventurer, but where has he gone now? Why Did Puss In The Boots Leave Shrek?

Why Did Puss In The Boots Leave Shrek?

Like most successful artists, Banderas had other film recordings, so he couldn’t record his feline voice with a Spanish accent. He was busy with movies from 2006 and 2007, like The Legend of Zorro, Bordertown, and My Spy.

He was packed with schedule, so he couldn’t reach the recording studio for Puss’s lines. Dream works could have set aside this absence with a story within the media to explain the understandable disappearance of Puss or find another voiceover artist.

In Shrek Three, Banderas could only give a limited time, and Puss had less time to entertain the fans. The filmmakers made huge adjustments for Banderas as the character is beloved.

Shrek had his last performance in 2010 in Shrek Forever After, and his cat accompaniment Puss in Boots in 2011 Puss In Boots after joining Shrek and Donkey. Puss in the Boots has future potential, honest ways, ways for change, and a lovely character.

Antonio Banderas is a Spanish actor who has won Cannes Film Festival, Golden Globe, Emmy Awards, and a European Film Award. He has been working with the best directors and actors ever since coming to Hollywood from Madonna’s Concert.

He was a soccer player till 14, when he broke his foot and was arrested in a play by Bertolt Brecht as it was censored under Francesco Franco. He joined the National Theatre of Spain, and he even worked with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
