Paris Hilton is taking a stand against negative comments regarding her son’s appearance. In a recent TikTok video, a content creator assessed and disapproved of disparaging remarks directed at 8-month-old Phoenix Barron, who had made an appearance in a photo shared by the multi-talented mother, aged 42, on the same day as the toddler’s inaugural visit to New York City.

Addressing concerns about her son’s head, Hilton responded to the post, expressing, “🥺😢There are some sick people in this world.☹️ My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course, he has been to a doctor; he simply has an enlarged brain.”

They were spotted last week exchanging meaningful glances while sitting together on a white couch. She posted photos of herself and the baby, who she shares with her husband Carter Reum, 42, with the words, “My precious angel baby Phoenix’s first time in NYC. .”

After exchanging vows in late 2021, Hilton and Reum secretly gave birth to their son through surrogacy on January 16, 2023. They chose to keep the news of their baby’s birth under wraps for more than a week.

Hilton joyfully announced Phoenix’s birth on her Instagram account just eight days after the baby was born. She posted a private photo of herself holding her infant’s hand and wrote, “You are already cherished beyond words.”

Furthermore, Hilton told PEOPLE that she and Reum are not raising their child alone. The vocalist of “Stars Are Blind” and her parents, Kathy Hilton and Rick Hilton, provide them with steadfast support. She said, “[My parents] are utterly enamored with him. I’m in constant contact with my mom and my sister, Nicky Hilton, seeking advice. I feel exceptionally fortunate to have such a tightly-knit family, providing a robust support system.”
