Timothée Chalamet found familiar company after his return as host on Saturday Night Live this weekend, with none other than Kylie Jenner by his side. The 27-year-old Dune star helmed the show’s fourth episode of its 49th season, accompanied by the indie trio boygenius as the musical guest. Post-show, Jenner, 26, joined him for a celebration at an afterparty in New York City.
The Kylie Skin founder made a striking entrance in an all-black ensemble featuring an elegant off-the-shoulder top, sleek black pants, and matching heels. Completing her look were sunglasses and a compact black purse. While arriving separately, Chalamet, not one to shy away from bold fashion choices, sported a vibrant outfit as he entered the bash.
Grinning broadly, Chalamet paired a purple jacket with a fuzzy inside with a hooded sweater in shades of blue and red. He wore a black baseball cap, white and black sneakers, and dark grey pants that were both casual and fashionable. Following his debut in December 2020, this was the actor’s second time hosting Saturday Night Live. His hilarious opening monologue, which included singing and rapping, addressed celebrities going back to work after the SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Chalamet’s involvement included humorous sketches in which he played roles like a rapper, a muscular gym staffer, and the Man on the Moon. Notably, Alec Baldwin made an unexpected appearance during one of his performances. Even though Jenner didn’t show up in Studio 8H, she accompanied Chalamet to the afterparty.
The couple, who have been romantically involved since the beginning of the year, was seen at the post-show party with other celebrities like Sophie Turner and Dakota Johnson. Their appearance extends the roster of high-profile couples who have visited SNL and its afterparties, including Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline, and Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner.
Jenner and Chalamet spent another night out together during the 2023 WSJ prior to their SNL appearance. Nov. 1 is Magazine Awards Day. Jenner debuted her new clothing line, Khy, after winning the magazine’s award for Brand Innovator of the Year. Martin Scorsese, the director, received the Cinema Innovator of the Year award from Chalamet.
Designer Haider Ackermann humorously mentioned Jenner’s “very attractive lover” at the awards ceremony as he gave her a prize. The duo hasn’t discussed their relationship in public, but Jenner quietly alluded to it in a recent WSJ article. In an interview with a magazine, she declared her admiration for Chalamet’s Dune.
Their more public debut during Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in Los Angeles on September 4 was preceded by their joint performances at major events such as New York Fashion Week and the 2023 US Open. The pair kissed several times during the show, according to a video that TMZ was able to secure. They were “hanging out and getting to know each other,” a source confirmed when romance rumors first arose in April. Later, a Jenner insider said, “Kylie is having fun.”
