The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, has been sharing their parenting journey online since the beginning. Their first child, Ocean King PenaVega, was born on December 7, 2016. Alexa shared an ultrasound photo with a heartfelt caption, expressing their anticipation and excitement for their firstborn.

Explaining the choice of the name “Ocean,” Alexa drew a beautiful biblical connection, stating that it represents the water and seas, and he is a son of the one true ‘King.’ Ocean was born in Los Angeles, weighing 8 lbs., 6 oz., according to their representative.

Their family grew in July 2019 with the arrival of their second son, Kingston James PenaVega. Alexa joyfully announced the expansion of their family with a photo taken in the delivery room.

The PenaVegas welcomed their first daughter, Rio Rey, in May 2021, completing their family of five. Reflecting on her early days as a new mom, Alexa spoke about the overwhelming but heartwarming experience of parenthood in various interviews, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe environment for her children.
