Kristin Cavallari prioritizes her children’s well-being above all else. In a TikTok clip featuring excerpts from her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest,” the 36-year-old Laguna Beach alum opened up about her decision to cut ties with her father a couple of years ago due to him crossing personal boundaries.

Reflecting on her relationship with her father, Cavallari revealed that she only recognized his narcissistic traits in adulthood, realizing that he often oscillated between belittling her and placing her on a pedestal for his own benefit.

The breaking point came when her father’s actions directly impacted her three children – Saylor (8), Camden (11), and Jaxon (9) – whom she shares with her ex-husband Jay Cutler. Cavallari recounted how a particular incident involving her kids led her to sever ties with her father. She emphasized that once her children were involved, she drew the line, refusing to tolerate any harm coming their way.

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in April, Cavallari discussed her stance on her children’s participation in reality TV. With a humorous tone, she expressed a firm “no” until they turned 18. The reality star stressed the importance of allowing her kids to enjoy their childhood without the added pressures of being in the public eye. Cavallari acknowledged the challenges of adolescence and emphasized her commitment to supporting any career choices her children might make after reaching adulthood.

Despite her children’s interest in YouTube stars and their desire to start their own channel, Cavallari is adamant about protecting their privacy. She affirmed her decision not to feature her kids on Instagram and emphasized her dedication to preserving their innocence for as long as possible.

In essence, Kristin Cavallari remains resolute in prioritizing her children’s happiness, shielding them from potential harm, and allowing them to navigate their adolescence without unnecessary external pressures.
