The Hardy Boys is The Appropriate Successor of “Supernatural”

The Hardy Boys

We all witnessed that Supernatural wrapped up its 15th and the last installment back in November of 2020. At this point in time, we already had worthy successors meant for this show in development. As you all might already know, The Hardy Boys on Hulu employs some of the major similarities to Supernatural. Although, we have seen that The Hardy Boys has some of the key updates of the important aspects of the show for an audience in the modern era. This is exactly what makes the show a perfect successor of Supernatural.

The story of The Hardy Boys throws the entire spotlight on brothers Frank as well as Joe as they move along with their father to the small town of Bridgeport. This happens after their mother dies. Later in the scenes, these guys find out that the place they have now come to reside is actually full of secrets. These secrets actually originate from a mystical artifact that brings its wielders luck to a conspiracy working in order to keep the artifact intact and under protection.

A still from The Hardy Boys on Hulu

The Hardy Boys is similar to Supernatural.

This is when the Hardy boys must find out about these secrets of the town. After doing so, they both can learn everything that has actually happened to their mother. Well, you guys should know that the story of The Hardy Boys fits perfectly well along with Sam and Dean Winchester. In the early seasons, they are two brothers who had to solve the mystery behind their mother’s death.

We saw that the Winchesters lost their mum, that is, Mary, when they were quite young (and even get her back because we know that the characters can not stay dead for a long time in Supernatural), how she dies remained as a big mystery for a variety of installments. This fact motivated the characters to search for the demon with a yellow eye while providing another intrigue in the series. Both of these shows feature a difficult relationship between the protagonist brothers and their father.

We see that these boys’ father takes off to hunt down a missing person who happens to be living overseas. This event happens as soon as he moves with his family to Bridgeport. This leaves his sons, that is, Frank and Joe, to deal with the lack of their mother on their own. On the other hand, we know that Sam and Dean form a team to look for their missing father.

Later in the scenes, when their fathers come back into their lives, neither set of siblings fully forgive and accept what happened. All this while, one of the strangest crossover in the show is the paranormal and mystical presence in both the series. At the same point in time, Sam and Dean both are no sort of strangers to the supernatural forces. They keep finding mysterious objects whose origin is not known.
