Outer Banks Season 2: The Latest Details For The Sequel

Outer Banks is the story surrounding the incidents taking place at the string of islands off the coast of North Carolina. Created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke, this action-adventure mystery drama follows the story of a charismatic orphan teenager, John B, whose dad has been missing ever since he went on his mission to salvage a sunken ship. So, despite his father not returning for 9 months, John B still believes his dad is alive and so with his best friends, called the “Pogues,” he goes on a quest to uncover the secret to his disappearance. But that’s not all! Pilling to their troubles is an ongoing socioeconomic war against the “kooks,” a group of rich kids who will stop at nothing to put a halt to whatever the pogues have set their eyes to.

Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger and has only wanted the fans to ask for more. By the end of season 1, we see that John B has found out that Ward Cameron was actually working with his dad to find the treasure in the sunken ship. And the two get in a dispute over the gold in which Ward ends up killing Big John. Followed by a series of incidents taking place in which Ward finds the gold and plans to smuggle it off to the Bahamas, his son Rafe kills the sheriff whose murder is on pinned on John B. So, now with a bounty on his head and the gold gone, John and Sarah head out in the middle of a storm to getaway. Presumed dead, both of them head off to the Bahamas to get back the gold.
