The Way of Househusband is a manga written and illustrated by Kousuke Oono. It was later adapted into a live-action television drama. And now it will finally be adapted into an Original Net Animation anime series on Netflix. Tatsu, “the Immortal Dragon,” was a former Yakuza who used to strike fear in both hardened police and criminals. After vanishing from this life, he resurfaces after years with a change of occupation. He is now living life as a househusband to support his wife, Miku.

The comedy series depicts the life of Tatsu as a Househusband, confronting daily domestic work. He finds that the mundane housework has its own challenges. And we will see how things work out with his intimidating personality and run-ins with former Yakuza associates.

Yasuke

Yasuke is an upcoming Netflix Original anime based on a historical samurai of African origin- Yasuke, who fought for Ida Nobunaga. Yasuke, the first black samurai, is in a war-torn Feudal Japan with mechs and magic. Working for Nobunaga Oda, Yasuke struggles to have a peaceful existence after a violent past. Now within an upheaval in a village due to warring daimyos, the greatest Ronin world never knew of is assigned a task. He must take up his sword and transport a mysterious child, who’s a target of dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords. LeSean Thomas’ Yasuke, voiced by Lakeith Stanfield, arrives next year.

Spriggan was a popular manga in the 80s which was later adapted into an anime in 1998. Now, fans of Spriggan are finally being awarded for their patience. A new adaptation of the story is set to be arriving next year. Many years ago, an ancient civilization ruling the Earth ultimately destroyed themselves due to their actions. They left messages on a tablet behind to the future generations regarding the powerful creations they used. Many armies start their search for the ancient relics in order to use them. ARCAM Corporation comes forward to stop these armies from misusing the relics by sealing them away. The elite squadron of soldiers assigned to the task is known as Spriggan.

EDEN is an upcoming Netflix Original Sci-Fi anime series by Justin Leach. Initially, it was to be released in the fall of 2020 but now has been postponed to May 2021. It will be directed by Yasuhiro Irie, director of the Full Metal Alchemist series. Set thousands of years in the future, Eden 3 is a place inhabited by robots alone. There are no humans in this world. One day, when two farming robots are on their routine assignment, they come across a pod. On inspection, they find a human girl inside named Sara Grace. They mistakenly awaken her from stasis, making them question everything they believed in. They were taught that humans were nothing more than an ancient forbidden myth. Now, to protect her from other robots, the two decide to raise her in a safe haven just outside Eden secretly.

Baki Hanma

Considering the three installments of the series that have come till now, Baki Hanma can be treated as its fourth season. It will be adapting the story of Hanma Baki manga by Keisuke Itagaki. And judging by the press release made by TMS Entertainment, it seems we will have a great animation throughout the epic finale to the Baki Hanma storyline. In this season, Baki Hanma will finally face his father, Ogre, to end the most dysfunctional father-son relationship. This battle will determine who the strongest martial artist in the world is.

Thermae Novae is a manga series by Mari Yamazaki. After two live-action movies and an anime, it is to be brought back yet again. An original net animation anime series adaptation by NAZ titled Thermae Romae Novae was announced in October 2020 and will premiere on Netflix. The story follows Lucius Modestus, an architect in the Roman Empire. One day when he goes to a bathhouse to unwind, he puts his head under the water. There he finds a passage to present-day Japan and learns about Japanese bath culture. Inspired by the innovations, he later puts this knowledge to use in his own time. He opens his own spa by the name Roma Thermae. This comedy-adventure by Mari Yamazaki is certain to make anime fans laugh in 2021.

High Rise Invasion is a manga series written by Tsuina Miura and illustrated by Takahiro Oba. It has been announced that manga will be adapted into an Original Net Animation anime. To be developed by Zero-G, the anime is to be premiered in February 2021. Yuri Honjo, a 16-year-old high school student trembles in fear and confusion when she sees a man’s head cracked open. She runs from the assailant only to find out she is trapped in a building. Finally, when she gets to the rooftop, she realizes that she is in a world filled with high rise buildings. These buildings were connected with one another through suspension bridges. And these were filled with masked assailants who mercilessly slaughter their victims. Now having the choice to kill or be killed, Yuri has decided to do whatever is necessary. Later learning her brother is also in these buildings, she is determined to find him and escape.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

There has been a rumor going around regarding a possible Resident Evil anime. Usually, this kind of news is dismissed for being false. Now it’s been confirmed that an anime is coming soon by the name Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. And according to the reports, the series will take place in the same timeline as the video games. According to ANN, this story is to be shown in two parts. The first part will depict the past of the sisters, Jade and Billie Wesker, where they realize that their father is meddling with things that could mean the end of the world. The second part will be a fast forward to the future with the world in chaos. With less than 15 million people and more than 6 billion monsters, the world is infected by the T-virus.

Godzilla Singular Point is an upcoming Japanese anime television series by Atsushi Takahasi. The series is scheduled to air in April 2021 and will be co-produced by CG Orange and Bones. Behind the animation is Beastars animations CG Orange, and designing the legendary creature is the highly acclaimed Studio Ghibli artist, Eiji Yamamori. In the story, two young geniuses, Mei Kamino (Researcher) and Yun Arikawa (Engineer), team up with their companions to take on an unprecedented threat to the depths of death.

Trese is a horror/crime black and white comic created by writer Budjette Tan and artist Kajo Baldisimo. It tells the story of Alexandra Trese, a detective who deals with crimes of supernatural origin. Her usual area of operations is around the capital of the Philippines, Manila. Whenever the police aren’t able to deal with the supernatural weirdness that appears, Trese arrives. Captain Guerrero, a man who seems to lean on her knowledge and specific skills, often calls her in.
