Vikings is a historical drama series aired on the History channel created and written by Michael Hirst. It first premiered on March 13, 2013, in Canada. The plot of the series is about the Viking, Ragnar Lothbrok, known as the legendary Norse hero. He is a small-time farmer who rises to fame and popularity by raiding England and eventually becoming a Scandanavian King, with the help of his family and fellow warriors. The cast of the series includes Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick, Clive Standen, Jessalyn Gilsig, Gustaf Skarsgard, Gabriel Byrne, George Blagden, Donal Logue, Alyssa Sutherland, Alexander Ludwig, and many more. What happened in Vikings Season 6 Episode 12?
Prince Oleg and Ivar return to the town and causes shock amongst the people who don’t like them very much. Oleg’s wife looks very disappointed upon his return. Later sometime in the evening, Oleg tells Katia that a dead man defeated them; he compares Bjorn to a resurrected Jesus Christ. He tells Katia that he will not be defeated again. It seems like Prince Oleg is slowly losing his control over everyone. Prince Oleg is angry and thrashes Igor’s house. He blames Igor for stealing his innocence and that he will no longer protect him. Igor cries, but Oleg believes that he is making him ready to be king.
A message is delivered to Ubbe about the fact that his brother Bjorn is dead. Ubbe wants more information about how his brother died. He is given a full brief about the battle with Rus and how he had scared them into platforming a resurrection. Ubbe raises his glass in respect to his brother and states that he was a hero. He still wants to find a new land despite the loss of his brother.
Erik tells Gunnhild that they need a new ruler as the attack on them by Rus is imminent. He tells her that she is a great shieldmaiden. But Gunnhild does not believe that she is popular enough and feels that she doesn’t deserve to be the queen. Erik tells her that her fate is already written. Gunnhild meets the Seer, and he tells her not to listen to all of the voices. Gunnhild sets up a meeting to find the new leader, and Erik wants a token of their friendship as he has a crush on her.

Kjetill Flatnose asks Ubbe why he does not want to take Bjork’s place as the rightful king while he vows for the King of Norway. Ubbe tells him that he does not wish to be a king. Kjetill looks unnerved by his words. Later, Torvi sees Kjetill arguing with Othere, and she tells Ubbe about what she saw.
Prince Oleg calls in most of his important officers of the army and asks them to dig ditches. Later, after some time, Katia reveals to Ivar that she knows that Prince dir is still alive and asks where he is. Ivar gives her the information and says that Igor is the future. Gunnhild decides to go to bed and asks Erik if he’d like to join her. Two of them get intimate, causing changes in their relationship.
