Assuming there’s one kind of genre that earns more sequels than you’d anticipate, it’s a horror. “Friday the 13th,” “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” “Halloween,” and a nearly uncountable number of others have all created various sequels. After finding an Ouija board, Alice and her daughters begin experiencing real spirits. Steadily, the film probes into the frightening history of Alice’s family house. You might wonder what goes down in the fast-paced final minutes.
Ouija Origin Of Evil: Plot
The camera takes us to spiritual medium Alice Zander’s home in the first sequence of the scene. Mr. Browning and his daughter Jenny have come to Alice, expecting to establish an association/connection with Mary Browning, the deceased female authority of the family. Mary demonstrates that she is rejuvenated in her afterlife and that she forgives her better half. However, she doesn’t agree to mortgage the house to congratulate Jenny’s marriage to Don. All things considered, we get an old-fashioned jump scare while the specter behind the curtains is later revealed to be Lina.

Ouija: Origin Of Evil focuses on a fake psychic named Alice Zander and her two daughters; Lina and Doris. They begin to bring an Ouija board into their act, however, Doris – who has psychic abilities – becomes possessed. With the guidance of a local priest named Tom, the family realises Doris has been taken over by the vengeful spirit of a Marcus, who was captured by a German scientist in the house’s basement years prior. They attempt to save her by burning the board; however, the possessed Doris kills Tom and Lina realizes she needs to sew her sister’s mouth shut to stop the spirit from being able to speak.
Lina figures out how to sew Doris’ mouth shut, yet this ends up killing her, and Lina herself is later possessed and stabs her mom Alice to dead. Ouija: Origin Of Evil ends with Lina in a mental hospital, who makes her Ouija using her blood to write letters and symbols. A doctor later notices her through a window, unaware the malevolent spirit of Doris is quietly stumbling across the ceiling towards him. The prequel is covered with few connections with the original movie, with the clearest link being the post-credits scene. This advanced scene uncovers Lina is Paulina (Lin Shaye) from the first Ouija movie, who is still in the hospital and is told by staff someone claiming to be her niece has dropped by, which is truly Olivia Cooke’s character from the first film.
Is there any Post-Credit Scene in Ouija Origin Of Evil
You might have thought that the film ends with the credits. Assuming this is the case, you would be shocked to realize that the final minutes cover the post-credits sequence for the avid genre fans. The post-credits scene opens in 2014 when Lina is much older. We return to her at the mental hospital (or perhaps not a similar one) as Lina gets news about somebody claiming to be her niece visiting her.
While the film ends here without a conclusion, the post-credits scene straightforwardly attaches the film to the 2014 film ‘Ouija,’ to which this film is a prequel. Assuming you have seen the first film, you would realize that the guest is Laine Morris. Additionally, she isn’t exactly Lina’s niece but a member of the family that buys the house after the departure of the Zander family.
