After only four months of marriage, Kelly Yazdi, the wife of lead vocalist of the Zac Brown Band, and Zac Brown have chosen to part ways. The 32-year-old model and the 45-year-old singer announced their divorce in a joint statement on Friday.
“We are in the process of divorce. Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time,” the couple said in a statement to TMZ.
When Yazdi deleted her Instagram account and then reactivated it under her married name, rumors about their breakup started to circulate. Zac Brown is no longer visible on Yazdi’s account, and the couple has stopped following one another on social media.

PEOPLE’s requests for comment were not immediately answered by Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi’s representatives, despite media inquiries. The couple got married in August in Georgia, according to TMZ’s scoop from last month. In December 2022, PEOPLE verified that the actress had received a romantic and personal proposal from Zac Brown in Hawaii.
Zac Brown was previously married to jewelry designer Shelly Brown; thus, this isn’t his first marriage. In October 2018, their 12-year marriage came to an end. Son Alexander (age 9) and daughters Joni (12), Georgia (13), Lucy (15), and Justice (16) are their shared family’s five children.
