A spokesperson from American Airlines expressed enthusiasm about the heightened excitement surrounding this year’s sporting events, particularly the Super Bowl.

The airline is thrilled to offer direct flights from Kansas City to Las Vegas, coining a playful nod to Swift’s hit song with the phrase, “To our customers who are huge sports fans, look what you made us do.”

United Airlines has joined the celebratory air travel trend, continuing the Super Bowl theme. Flights from Kansas City to Las Vegas, distinguished by the numbers 1587, 2287, and 1989, further underscore the connection to Taylor Swift, with 22 referencing one of her renowned songs.

For 49ers fans, United Airlines has introduced flights with numbers 1995, symbolizing the team’s last championship year, and 1849, representing the historical gold rush year connected to the team’s name.

In a comprehensive effort, United Airlines disclosed that it has added 15 direct flights to Las Vegas, with six catering to Kansas City, five to San Francisco, and four to San Jose.

The airline emphasized that this year’s Super Bowl marks its largest “Big Game” schedule in history, encompassing 43 flights nationwide to accommodate the surge in demand from passionate fans.

The journey to Super Bowl LVIII unfolded during Sunday’s playoff games, where the Chiefs triumphed over the Baltimore Ravens with a score of 17-10 in the AFC Championship, while the 49ers secured a victory against the Detroit Lions with a score of 34-31 in the NFC Championship.

Super Bowl LVIII is scheduled to be broadcast live from Allegiant Stadium on CBS and Nickelodeon, with streaming available on Paramount+. Airlines’ creative incorporation of flight numbers reflects a unique and spirited approach to celebrating the convergence of sports and entertainment on this grand stage.
