Glastonbury Festival has launched a ticket prize draw to raise funds for charities that support individuals affected by conflict. The initiative follows the rapid sell-out of tickets for the Somerset festival in November, which were all snapped up within an hour of release.
The prize draw offers a chance to win one of twenty tickets, with entries accepted until 12:00 on 28 March. Proceeds from the draw will be donated to the British Red Cross, Oxfam, and War Child, organizations renowned for their humanitarian efforts in conflict zones.
While the festival’s lineup remains under wraps, Glastonbury Festival organizer Emily Eavis hinted at some exciting prospects, mentioning the offer of a “really big American artist.”
She also expressed her goal of securing two female headliners, a move that would align with the festival’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
