St. Paul’s Cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the late 17th century, stands as a testament to London’s rich architectural history. Its legacy as a worship site dates back over 1,400 years.

The cathedral’s grandeur and historical significance make it a landmark destination for visitors worldwide. Guests fortunate enough to secure a stay will be treated to a unique experience, entering the cathedral through the dean’s door and ascending a stunning geometric staircase designed by Wren over 300 years ago.

This staircase leads to the library, home to a remarkable collection of over 22,000 books, ranging from timeless classics to eagerly anticipated releases by renowned authors such as Holly Jackson, Kevin Kwan, and John Grisham.

Upon arrival, the dean will warmly welcome guests and give them a comprehensive tour of the cathedral, which will provide insights into its rich history and architectural marvels.

Following a restful night’s stay in the bedroom section of the hidden library, guests can explore the reading room, nooks, and additional library areas at their leisure.

As a special souvenir, guests will receive signed and stamped copies of upcoming Penguin Random House US books, including Jackson’s “The Reappearance Of Rachel Price” and Grisham’s “Camino Ghosts.” This exclusive experience is being offered to celebrate World Book Day with a symbolic fee of £7 in honor of the event’s date, 7 March.

The stay, scheduled for one night on 15 March, can be booked through Airbnb starting at 10 am on 12 March. This opportunity marks the first time since World War II that anyone will officially spend the night within the cathedral, a poignant reminder of the cathedral’s resilience and enduring place in London’s history.
