UBS, the Swiss banking giant, has appointed Victoria Hagmann as the new head of wealth management for the UK, Jersey, and Guernsey.

Based in London, Hagmann will report directly to Christine Novakovic, who serves as the head of global wealth management for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Additionally, she will maintain a dotted line of communication with Beatriz Martin Jimenez, who holds the position of president for EMA and UK chief executive.

The recent acquisition of Credit Suisse and its wealth business has further solidified the bank’s presence in this region. With ambitious targets set for its global wealth management division, aiming to reach invested assets of US$5 trillion by 2028, UBS expects a substantial portion of this target to be contributed by the UK and Channel Islands.

In a statement, UBS highlighted its strong presence across the UK, including London, the North of England, and Scotland. The bank expressed its intention to expand further, leveraging the entrepreneurial spirit and wealth generation observed across these regions.
