Staff Sergeants Rachel Tozier and Will Hinton, serving in the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU), have secured spots in Olympic Trap shooting for the upcoming 2024 Paris Games. This achievement was realized during USA Shooting’s Shotgun Olympic Trials—Part 2, held in Tucson, Arizona, from March 11 to 17.

Both hailing from Fort Moore, Georgia, Tozier, and Hinton showcased their skills in ten 25-target qualification rounds alongside top trap shooters nationwide, including former Olympic medalists.

In the Women’s Trap category, Tozier, originally from Pattonsburg, Missouri, triumphed over 49 other competitors to earn her Olympic berth by winning the Olympic Trials Final.

Tozier, who also serves as an instructor and competitive shooter for the USAMU Shotgun Team, expressed her excitement about this significant accomplishment.
