The Polish General Command of the Armed Forces disclosed that a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper made an emergency landing near Mirosławiec in northwestern Poland, occurring after 11 p.m. local time. The exact reason for the drone’s emergency landing was not provided by Polish military officials, who shared an image of the Reaper on social media.
Confirming the event, the Pentagon stated that a remotely piloted MQ-9, operated by U.S. Air Forces in Europe, conducted an emergency landing at the mentioned location. The incident was attributed to a loss of connection with the command station during routine training operations, affecting the drone’s operational capabilities.
