Former President Trump is resolute in his quest to reclaim the White House in November, and he isn’t inclined to tolerate any Republicans who might impede his path, as he indicated during his recent appearance in Florida.
After casting his ballot in the Florida primary election, which he ultimately won, the Republican presumptive nominee took a moment to address reporters.
When asked about his former running mate and vice president, Mike Pence, and Pence’s decision not to endorse him against President Biden, Trump brushed off the question with characteristic nonchalance.

“Oh, I couldn’t care less,” Trump retorted to the press corps. “I couldn’t care less. We need patriots. We need strong people in our country. Our country is going downhill very fast, very rapidly.”
He further emphasized the need for resilience and strength in the face of challenges, stating, “Millions of people coming across the border, coming from jails, from prisons, coming from mental institutions and insane asylum terrorists. We need strong people in this country. We don’t need weak people.”
The strained relationship between Trump and Pence has been evident since the 2020 presidential election, and Pence recently reiterated his decision not to endorse his former running mate during an appearance on “The Story.”
In the wake of Nikki Haley suspending her campaign earlier this month, Trump emerged as the sole Republican contender in the presidential primary and secured victory in the Florida primary election.
Ohio Republican Bernie Moreno, who clinched victory in his primary contest for the U.S. Senate nomination, echoed sentiments urging Republicans to unite behind Trump despite any personal reservations they might harbor about his character.

“I am so sick of Republicans that will say ‘I support President Trump’s policies, but I don’t like the man,'” Moreno expressed, prompting reactions from the crowd. “This is a good man. This is a great American.”
He continued to extol Trump’s dedication to the country, asserting, “This man wakes up every day fighting for us, fighting for this country. He loves this country like no other leader in this nation has ever loved this country.”
As the Republican primary for the presidency consolidates around Trump, GOP supporters are rallying behind him, aiming to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
With Biden’s dwindling popularity, escalating immigration concerns, and persistent inflation woes, Republicans are eager to bridge their differences and present a united front in their bid to regain control of the White House and the U.S. Senate.
