Former First Lady Melania Trump is scheduled to host a fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans on April 20th at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Log Cabin Republicans describe themselves as “the nation’s largest Republican organization dedicated to representing LGBT conservatives and allies,” advocating for equality for over 40 years through various initiatives and political action committees.

Melania Trump‘s affiliation with the Republican group has been highlighted previously. The organization honored her at a 2021 dinner held at Mar-a-Lago. Additionally, former President Donald Trump spoke at an event hosted by the group in Palm Beach in 2022.

Despite her relatively low public profile since leaving the White House, Melania Trump continues to be regarded as a popular surrogate for her husband. However, according to reports, she has shown limited interest in actively participating in campaign activities.
