A Perfect Planet

Sir David Attenborough is bringing back another breathtaking documentary series. This 94-year-old natural historian is known for his writings and creating visually great documentaries, series, and movies. A Perfect Planet is a new 5 part documentary series brought by Attenborough with BBC. According to Sir David Attenborough, this was the year where people found it comfortable and solace in the natural world more than ever before. Even though we can not travel, we still can take a few moments to appreciate how wonderful and diverse our planet is through this incredible footage. The powerful yet fragile forces such as Oceans, weather, sunlight, and volcanoes together allow life to flourish in astonishing diversity.

They make Earth truly unique and a perfect planet. Our Earth is one in a billion, which is teeming with life. But now, a new dominant force is changing the face of Earth, which is humans. To preserve our perfect planet, we must ensure that we become a force for good.

All we know till now about the series

This series will focus on how Earth can perfectly balance all of its living beings under all these years. The first four episodes will be exploring all of the powers of Volcanos, sunlight, weather, and oceans. This will range from the Indian Monsoon to Hawaiian volcanoes, tidal islands of the Bahamas, to the Arctic winter extremes. The series prequel aired on 23rd November gives more idea about the upcoming series. It took 4 years to film the series, which included 3000 hours of footage from 31 countries spread across 6 continents, made with the teamwork of more than 200 team members.  They were even able to witness 6 volcanic eruptions.

The series’s first episode will begin with the breathtaking shot of Flamingoes nesting in nature. This was commended by Alastair Fothergill, the Executive producer, as follows: It combines epic aerial images, which were captured as never seen before. It has theatrical, narrative, and intimate character portraits. The second episode will be on the importance of the Sun for the sustainability of our nature. With the third episode, the series will explore how weather plays a role in distributing water worldwide. The Oceans episode will examine the importance of the ocean and marine life to our nature. Finally, the last episode will investigate how humans imbalanced Nature due to their liveliness. The series will also show us how we could restore the balance of our once perfectly balanced planet.

When is the Premiere date of “A Perfect Planet”?

It seems like 2021 is going to be pretty great as this Perfectly visualized series is premiering on 3rd January 2021. For all those who are fans of David Attenborough, we think this is really great! Even if you haven’t watched any of his creations yet, you can still watch this as this series.  As this will make you a fan of Sir David Attenborough and this will be a great experience for you.
