Kanye West is famous for his career as a rapper and producer, but he is extraordinarily infamous for his reputation regarding his actions and outrageous statements. This leading American rapper has been the most influential in the hip-hop world and was one of the most substantial musicians of his generation, but this name is not all clean and polished.

West has made news more for his shenanigans than for his music, from disrupting Taylor Swift’s MTV VMA winners speech on stage to announcing his love for his former wife Kim Kardashian and constantly chasing her to now marching up to footwear company Skechers office unannounced a day after Adidas ended its collaboration with the rapper. We have here a timeline for you of all of his controversies ranging from outrageous moments to the most shocking, crazy statements.

Kanye & President Bush

When Kanye deviated from the script during a live television benefit for Hurricane Katrina victims in 2006, he left everyone in disbelief. Kanye continued to rage about how the media portrayed Katrina’s black victims before attacking the president as Mike Myers stood there motionless.

One of Kanye’s most stunning comments was when he claimed that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” He was abruptly cut off by the show’s producer, who then went on to the next presenter. Kanye does very well know how to make things AWKWARD.

Kanye Compares Himself  To Jesus

His sixth album is called “Yeezus.” The rapper stated that he could draw a direct similarity between himself and Jesus while posing for Rolling Stone with a crown of thorns and fake blood. Why? Because he had to struggle for success and recognition. He feels that people look at him like he is Hitler when he walks down the street.

Kanye On Losing VMA

The rapper was furious in 2007 when he failed to win any of the five prizes for which he was nominated and was denied the opportunity to perform on the main stage with Justin Timberlake or Britney Spears.

This is funny coming from a person who continuously dismisses awards. He also threatened never to attend VMAs while he was throwing his tantrum backstage, but it seems like he didn’t hold onto that threat. Well, unfortunate for Taylor Swift.

Kanye & Taylor’s VMA Speech

During the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Tylor Swift won an award for her music video. You Belong with Me. During her acceptance speech, Kanye stormed onto the stage, snatched the microphone from the winner, and started to rant about how Beyoncé’s Single Ladies should’ve won, leaving the poor 17-year-old defeated and everyone in the audience, including Beyoncé, stunned.

Everyone to date must agree that this was one of the most unacceptable outbreaks by the famous rapper and producer. This was, unfortunately, just the beginning of his journey down the road of even huge controversies.

Kanye & Beck

Following his confrontation with Taylor Swift in 2009, the rapper continued to storm the stage in support of Beyoncé since it was his habit. Kanye appeared to argue that Beck’s Morning Phase should have won Album of the Year in 2015.

For some time, it felt like a joke, but it ultimately wasn’t. The rapper then turned to Twitter after a few weeks to apologize where he put, “It was a joke – like the Grammy’s themselves” and played it off like a joke. Kanye can not control himself, can he?

Kanye & Wiz Khalifa

In January 2016, Ye got into one of his most infamous Twitter celebrity fights with the Black and Yellow singer Wiz Khalifa. Wiz Khalifa charged Kanye with disrespecting Max B for making the terms “wave” and “wavy” common in rap when Kanye revealed his intention to call his album “Waves.” Naturally, this sparked a lengthy Twitter rant during which Kanye claimed to “own” Wiz’s child.

Kanye & Cosby

The Famous singer seems to be in a habo=it of going against people. In February 2016, he defended Bill Cosby when the who world was against the actor. He yet again took to Twitter and tweeted, “BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!!!!” This resulted in the public being upset, in shock, and grossed out by Kanye West.

Kanye and Taylor Swift 2. o

As if things already weren’t bad between the two since the VMA feud, it spiced up more when Kanye released his song Famous in February 2016. In the song, he very shamelessly called the All Too Well singer the B-Word. There were a lot of people who thought Kanye’s song was insensitive, including Swift’s fans, other celebrities, and other people. The rapper, however, insisted that he had had Swift’s and his wife’s OK for the lyrics. He tweeted that the concerned female artist (Taylor Swift) found it amusing.

Kanye With Trump; Against Beyonce & Jay-Z

When Kanye revealed that, had he participated in the 2016 presidential election, he would have cast his ballot for Donald Trump, and his fans were stunned. Kanye was taunted after declaring he was on Team Donald, but a few nights later, the musician showed no signs of fear.

During his Sacramento performance, he verbally attacked Jay-Z and Beyonce for more than 20 minutes before giving up and leaving the stage. The audience was correctly offered a refund for their tickets because the band had only performed three songs.

While Kanye had previously vented his frustrations and poured his heart out, it appears that this time the artist went too far and that it hurt his mental health. Later, Kanye was admitted to the hospital for a mental health assessment and spent Thanksgiving weekend there. He took an 11-month vacation from Twitter after his release.

Kanye On Slavery: It Was A Choice

Midway through 2018, it appeared that Kanye had reached his breaking point. There is a limit to how much of what he preaches we can tolerate before it becomes utterly insane and unforgivable. The rapper spoke with TMZ in May and discussed several contentious issues, including slavery and free thought: “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years? That sounds like a choice.

You were there for 400 years, and it is all of y’all?” After receiving a lot of criticism from famous people and others all around the world, Kanye resorted to Twitter to clarify his true intentions.

Here is what he said: “The reason why I brought up the 400 years point is that we can’t be mentally imprisoned for another 400 years. We need free thought now. Even the statement was a free expression of thought. It was just an idea” Do you agree with him?

Kanye Running For President

This has to be one of those times when people were excited. People wanted to see his presidential campaign and speeches when he claimed to be running for president in 2020. People were also excited about the possibility of Kim Kardashian West as the First Lady. This, like any other shenanigans, turned out to be just a joke/prank. By the reaction of people, we can easily conclude that the world is getting crazier day by day.

On July 4th, 202o, Kanye expressed that he was indeed running for president that year. Kanye was backed by even Elon Musk, who declared his “complete support” for him. However, despite holding several rallies, Kanye’s campaign fell short, receiving only 0.04% of the national vote.

Kanye About George Floyd’s Death

Kanye made the horrifying assertion that George Floyd died from a Fentanyl overdose rather than through police violence during his interview on Revolt TV’s Drinks Champs podcast (which has since been removed from YouTube).

The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM, a Candace Owens documentary, and the victim who was killed by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in May 2020 were also topics of discussion.

Kanye added, “They hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that. They said he screamed for his mama; mama was his girlfriend. It’s in the documentary.” This has got to be the mos

Kanye On Abortion

When Kanye brought up abortion at the same political rally, he experienced a breakdown. The performer explained to the gathering how his mother decided to save him despite his father’s desire to abort him.

When his late mother was mentioned, Kanye started crying and sobbing before continuing to rage about how he “nearly murdered his daughter.” Kim thought about not having North while she was expecting a child in 2013, according to Kanye, who made this admission in a speech that undoubtedly embarrassed his wife.

Kanye Against his Family

After his humiliating rally outburst, Kanye took to Twitter to attack his mother-in-law Kris Jenner and his then-wife, Kim. Kim wanted an abortion while she was pregnant with North West, according to Kanye.

Later, Kanye aimed Kris, a member of the Kardashian family, by claiming that Kim would never pressure North into choosing a professional path the way she did with Kim—a.k.a. that Playboy shot. He also did not hold back when referring to Kris as “Kris Jong-Un” and making comparisons to the dictatorships of Kim Jong Un of North Korea. Kanye sets the bar for how much a person can stoop low. Sad.

Kanye Supports White Lives Matters

When Kanye showed up for his Yeezy SZN 9 fashion show in Paris wearing a “White Lives Matter” jersey, everyone was taken aback. Commentator Candace Owens, a conservative, joined the rapper and was also sporting a shirt that endorsed the term “white supremacy” (which is a racist response to the Black Lives Matter movement).

Kanye’s Anti-Semitic Tweet

When Kanye is banned from Instagram and Twitter, you know he has done something wrong. Kanye went on one of his customary rants after facing criticism for donning a “White Lives Matter” shirt. It all began when he sent Diddy a text message, during which the topic of the shirt dispute was up.

When Diddy pleaded with Kanye to stop acting out, the rapper responded with how this is all business. Instagram rightfully banned him, and he turned to Twitter to continue with his rants. This also led him to be banned by Twitter.

Kanye & Pete Davidson

Kanye has shown easy signs of being jealous of his former wife’s now ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson. From making a diss called Eazy to burying Pete in his music video to sharing screenshots of text messages and crossing every line of humanity like giving nicknames, he went onto Saturday Night Live to make sneaky comments and poke fun at the broken couple. Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson had requested for the video to be taken down. This is surely not the end of Kanye’s outburst, and stay tuned in to see more drama caused by the infamous rapper!
