Paul Hollywood is one of the judges of the Great British Bake off. He has been a part of the show since 2010. He started from the Bakery of his father and went on to work in many acclaimed hotels both In Britain and internationally.
It was after his international career he decided to try his hand at Broadcasting. He appeared on a number of British television programs on both BBC and ITV. This Includes The Generation Game, The Heaven and Earth Show, This Morning, The Alan Titchmarsh Show, etc.
He married his wife in 1998. They met in Cyprus while Hollywood was working as a head baker at a five-star hotel. She was a scuba diving instructor in the same hotel. They fell in love and married in Cyprus. They have a son together.
They have been married till 2019. They had been married for 21 years before they got divorced in 2019. The reason for this divorce was his affair with one of the co-Judges from The American Baking Competition. Their affair happened in 2013, causing a rift between this longtime couple, but they decided to reconcile in 2017. But they couldn’t make this relationship work, so they called it quit in 2019.

Paul Started his Great British Bake career in 2010. He has been part of the show ever since it was launched. He is described as straightforward and honest when it comes to his judgment. He only cares about the final product.
His combination with Chef Mary Berry was one of the best judging combinations in the show. Fans love their chemistry. But when the Love production agreed to a deal to move this show to Channel 4, Mary quit, but Hollywood decided to stay.
In May 2013, he appeared as a judge on CBS’s baking show called The American Baking Competitions. It was in this show he met Marcela Valladolid, his co-judge. Though neither of them confirmed the accusation of cheating at that time, it was widely believed that they did, in fact, have an adulterous relationship.
They shipped him off to the US when The Sun started a spin-off of The Great British Bake off. It was called the American Baking Competition. But this show was not nearly as successful as the British one, so they had to cancel the program after seven episodes. It is in this time span they found time to cheat on his wife and thus ended a 20-year-long marriage.
Paul Hollywood’s affair
Paul’s Ex-wife Alexandra claims that he had multiple extramarital affairs during the course of their relationship and not just one. It was one of the main reasons why she decided to split with him in 2019.
Though she gave him a chance in the 2013 incident and got back with him in 2017, they couldn’t get along very well, knowing that he had cheated on her with multiple women. Though Hollywood admitted this affair as one of the biggest mistakes of his life, it was difficult for Alexandra to continue a life with him.
In an Instagram post after the divorce, the cheating was too much and was not to her taste, and hence she decided to get out of that relationship. She says that it was not easy to break off a 21-year-long marriage, but once you get out, you really understand that happiness comes within, and it is just a decision away.
She only stayed in the marriage for the sake of her son. But that reason was not enough to live with a person who has been unfaithful to her. He described the event that happened in the US as sad and utterly devastating. He went to The US as her husband and came back as a totally different person.
Paul himself regrets the decision so badly that he commented that he was the reason for his failed marriage. He only admitted to having an affair when the divorce rumors got out. He called that event the greatest mistake of his life.
Alex and Paul’s relationship after the divorce
Right after they got divorced in 2019, Paul began to date a 23-year-old Summer Monteys Fullam. This relationship caused a lot of criticism, given the age gap and how easily he moved on from his two-decade-long marriage.
Paul and Alex have a son together and have to be there for him despite the fact the couple does not intend to get back together after all the things he has put her through.
