Ya Boy Kongming Episode 8 will follow where the last episode left off. Though there wasn’t much in singing, it was all build-up for the coming episode. Eiko and Kabe are in preparation for the 100,000-like event. But both of them are facing their own set of problems. Eiko’s problem is brought out by the man who was helping with the recording of her new song. Though he was unwilling to start initially, a little nudge from Kongming behind the scenes gets him in the mood. After their first rehearsal, Kid (the man who is helping with recording) compliments Eiko. He goes into detail about how she has talent and compares her idol to give an idea of where she stands as a musician. That’s where his compliments come to a halt.
Eiko is rightfully shocked by Kid’s refusal to help any further. He explains how Eiko does have good qualities, but she lacks the core of being a singer. She is imitating others’ styles and copying their voice, the lack of her voice is what makes her song dull. He tells her not to come back until she has found her voice. Episode 8 of Ya Boy Kongming has a main plot and subplot to follow and set for future events as well. At the end of the last episode, we see Kongming Diving repeatedly to predict the future. His prediction foreshadows a new friendship for Eiko as well as a rivalry. The person in question could be the girl with Whom Eiko sang on the street and was looking forward to seeing again. She could very well be the lead singer of the all-girl band Azalea, but we will have to wait and see for that. IF she does their dynamic in the future would be an interesting thing to watch.
The other thing Episode 8 of Ya Boy Kongming will cover is Kabe’s progress. Kabe is in inner turmoil and can make progress with his rapping. He has a lack of self-confidence which can not be overcome so easily. Even in the last episode, he criticizes his action way too much, even after putting in the effort. His harsh self-judgment will not be gone easily but Episode 8 of Ya Boy Kongming could show the first step in improving in that criteria.

Kongming wakes up and finds himself in modern-day Tokyo on the day of Halloween, which he mistakes for hell. His attire being that of the Third century, he is mistaken for a well-versed Kongming look alike and is taken to a club. He finds himself content where music grates his ears. The misconception starts to fade as soon as he hears the singing of a certain girl in the clubhouse.
