Though, we also learn she is a friend, no, best friend with glass. The cardinal hero of another world, Naofumi, doesn’t like it much.

Episode 8 of the Shield Hero season 2 will continue with Naofumi’s team, and newfound cardinal heroes are escaping from the labyrinth. One thing to note from the last episode was how everyone’s level was reset when they had gotten there. Raphthalia’s level reset reverted her to the state of a child, which was something unexpected. It was a bit of humor to see the character go on a short spree to level up again, but they will have to hurry. They are in an unknown world with no backup, and the environment will not be the only hostilities they will face there. The hunter hero is the sole helper there, but she has been imprisoned for long to know of current events. Plus, she was imprisoned for doing something we still don’t know of.
Episode 8 of the Shield Hero season 2 might also start dropping as to Kyo’s true intent in harnassing the power of monsters from another world.

Rising of the Shield Hero starts as Naofumi is transported to another world while reading a random book in his college Library. Excited about the prospect of being transported to another world, he is enthralled and wants to live out the fantasy of the chosen one. He is not the only one. However, he meets three more people summoned just like him. He learns that the world is not filled with fantastic journeys but corrupted people with schemes. As Naofumi loses his good name and is ridiculed for the crime he didn’t commit, he must face obstacles to keep himself alive and recruit allies that make up for his lack of strength.
