Previously Kaiju No. 8 starts with Reno desiring greater strength. He remarked that his lack of power caused Iharu and Sir to suffer. He charged directly toward the adversary. Reno went all out and smashed the unit organ of Kaiju Number Six. However, he eventually surpassed his limit and continued to want more power. This was due to the overwhelming feeling of responsibility he felt for himself alone. His many fractures and muscle rips caused him to move more slowly. Then, he was summoned back, and Touko took his position. Reno accepted his loss once again at that time. Iharu could not, however, let this slip that simply. He yelled Reno’s name loudly. Iharu requested that Ogata wait while he went to retrieve Reno. He declared in the last panel that Reno would do the task following his words. Iharu was finally able to reach Reno.
