Ken Wakui wrote and illustrated the manga on which the animated series Tokyo revengers is based. Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen magazine has it serialized since March 2017. Liden Films made the adapted animation version of this manga. This anime aired from April and lasted till September 2021. Season 2 of this anime is to be premiered soon. To much surprise, as of July 2022, Ken’s manga has a huge circulation of over 65 million copies. Seven million copies of this anime are being circulated outside of Japan. The plot of season 1 was divided into five parts. These five parts were: First Arc, Valhalla Arc, Black Dragon Arc, Tenjiku Arc, and Final Arc. The first season consisted of 24 episodes. The first season’s finale episode left many questions in fans’ minds. These questions have been going on since September 2021. Expectations From Tokyo Revengers Season 2?
Ken Wakui published the latest volume of manga in Japan. This latest volume of the manga was published in December 2021. This makes it a total of 25 volumes and 235 chapters. Season 1 of Tokyo Revengers covered near about volume 8, chapter 73. The big battle between Tokyo Manji and the 10th generation of black dragons is well featured in this arc. We believe season 2 will follow up on the plot of season 1. We are hopeful it will adapt to the Christmas shadow arc from the manga.
In season 1, Takemichi falls again for Hina, which upsets him more each time he isn’t able to save her from death. Takemichi returns to the present, believing he has saved her when he is killed in front of his own eyes. Hina is crushed in the car while waiting for Takemichi when a bigger vehicle hits their car. The saddest part of this incident is the person behind the wheel, who is none other than Akkun. Having Hina die before him, Takemichi is motivated like anything to do everything in his power to save her.
