Reiji Miyajima has written the manga, which is the basis of this anime. This anime is a huge success and is a recommendation as well. Rent a girlfriend has become my personal favorite as well. It is the kind of anime that grows on you with time. Rent a girlfriend season 2, episode 7 is around the corner, and we cannot wait for what will happen in Kazuya’s life now. The protagonist of this anime is Kazuya Kinoshita, a 20-year-od boy who, when he gets dumped, decides to rent a girlfriend. His girlfriend was Mami Nanami, who had broken his heart badly. This makes him land up on the dating app in the first place.
Chizuru Mizuhara is the first girl he goes out of the app, but he gives her a very low rating. He somehow lands up in the situation of making Chizuru meet his ill grandmother. Chizuru’s grandmother is in the same hospital and is a friend of Kazuya’s grandmother. Their lie about dating gets super twisted as they can’t break their grandmother’s hearts. Kazuya and Chizuru are neighbors as well. They both decided to continue their fake relationship for the sake of their grandmothers. Chizuru promises to help Kazuya find a good girl. Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger making the fans want more.

Rent A Girlfriend Season 2 Episode 7
In episode 6, we see how Kazuya is worried after giving Chizuru his gift. He comes to the balcony the next morning, hoping to converse with her. He is panicking in his head over Chizuru not liking the gift. Kazuya being himself, thinks of several negative thoughts and starts panicking about the same. After Chizuru finally comes to the balcony, she thanks him but also points out how this looked like a gift from a grandfather instead of a friend. Honestly, this was an extremely funny moment for us.
Later in the show, Kazuya and Chizuru’s date gets canceled as her friends invite her to a drinking party, which also justifies the title of the episode. What’s funny is Kazuya’s friends end up taking them to the same party. None of them recognize Chizuru in her glasses and changed avatar, but this situation makes both of them extremely awkward. They both stay scared during the entire party of their secret of a rental relationship being revealed. This makes Kazuya takes all the dares to protect Chizuru from getting too drunk and revealing their situation. Their friends are so drunk that they can barely connect any dots. The episode ends up with Chizuru taking care of a drunk Kazuya.
