Being a show fan, you must know what happened in the episode, but if you are not aware, then there’s nothing to worry about. We have got you covered. Will I tell you what happened? So let’s get into it.
Is Tristan leaving All Creatures Great and Small?
In the show’s special episode, Tristan exits, leaving everyone with an open mouth and not to mention a broken heart. During the festive days, the locals in the show were bent on celebrating Christmas, not caring about the war. In the episode, Siegfried Farnon found out that his younger brother, Tristan, had been called out to fight in the war after volunteering. Despite Siegfried’s countless efforts, Tristan perfectly made it clear that he would be leaving.
After witnessing the final moments of the brothers, the show’s audience couldn’t control their eyes from tearing up. The usual stone-hearted Siegfried Farnon told Tristan how much he loves him and wants him to be safe in the All Creatures Great and Small episode.
Tristan also made a toast to let his brother know how much he meant to him. Firstly, he thanked Mr.s Hall (Anna Madeley) for making so much with so little and, to lighten up the mood, joked that he couldn’t be serious but should try for a change. He later said that Christmas is a time for a family, and all of them are missing someone. Most they’ll see another time, and others won’t.
He later thanked his elder brother for taking care of him and for properly educating him. He said that he wants to remember those who aren’t with them and give his thanks to those who filled the hole they left behind. He thanked his brother, who made a promise that he would take care of him and make sure that he was properly educated and that he would make someone of himself.
He also joked about the difficult task, in response to which Siegfried Farnon said that it wasn’t that bad. Tristan replied that it was, but Siegfried never gave up on him, no matter how he wanted him to, and he did certainly give him enough reason to. He later commented that lesser men would have thrown in the towel, but he didn’t.
Tristan thanked him for that and also told him that he loved him, and the only thing that was left to say was Merry Blood* Christmas.
