The Family Man Season 2 will be starring the iconic Manoj Bajpayee alongside Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Neeraj Madhav, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Sharad Kelkar, Gul Panag, and Samantha Akkineni, who will be making her digital debut with the upcoming season. The debut season of The Family Man dropped on Amazon Prime Video on 20 September 2019 and eventually became a hit, owing to its extraordinary cast and the storyline that follows. The action thriller web series was much loved, and with the end of Season 1, fans couldn’t help but wait for a brand new season.
The fans and the viewers spent about a year speculating and asking the team whether the show is set to renew or not. And with the one year anniversary of the Amazon Original series, an explosive announcement was made that made the fans roll in excitement. Amazon Prime Video and the team of The Family Man dropped an announcement video on YouTube along with a post on Twitter and other social media handles. The announcement came as a new year gift to the viewers and fans of the show.

The Family Man Storyline
Starring Manoj Bajpayee as the lead, he plays the role of Srikant Tiwari. Srikant is a middle-class man who secretly works for the National Investigation Agency as a top-class intelligence officer. His family is unaware of his position, and that acts as a hindrance between his personal and professional life. He is married and a father of two, and his family expects him to devote more time and cater to his responsibilities of being a Family Man. Meanwhile, he has enormous responsibilities while at work that require complete focus and determination. However, the story revolves around a man who struggles to maintain a proper balance between him being an officer and a man who has to run a family side by side.

The initial season follows his investigation against a massive terrorist attack and his attempt to keep together his family as a normal one. The debut season has 10 episodes in total with a run time of around 40-47 minimum each.
With the announcement of an upcoming season, the director of the series Raj Nidimoru said that the renewed season will follow a similar plot but will be greater and better than the previous one. They’re working to be more innovative this time and have no plans to present the new season as a sequel. The team feels that the world depicted in the show is exciting enough for them to experiment. But at the same time, it’s pretty interesting to take up the challenge of creating a project that will match up to the expectations of the viewers.
The filming of The Family Man season 2 began in November. For now, no official teaser or trailer has been released by the team or the streaming platform. Im addition, there is no such release date, but the show is expected to hit the screens by February 2021 or by mid-2021.
