Snowfall is a crime drama television series, which was created by John Singleton. It first aired on FX on July 5th, 2017. The series focuses on the first crack epidemic and its impact on the world. It mainly focuses on 19-year-old Franklin Saint, who starts selling drugs like marijuana and cocaine to keep his finance afloat after his dreams shatter. It even focuses on other characters whose lives end up intertwining with the drug dealing business. CIA Officer Teddy McDonald tries to find more connection to the drug dealing business, and Lucia Villaneuva tries to adjust to leading her uncle’s crime business.
What happened in the season 3 finale?
Franklin attends a mostly white university where he is approached by a girl that he ultimately rejects. He is then given an eviction notice for his dorm and goes to see the financial advisor, who tells him that his financial aid request has been denied. The income that was reported by his mother was too high for assistance. Franklin assures the advisor that it is a mistake and he can get a copy in a few days. However, the advisor isn’t nice to him, so he asserts himself but later backs down when his secretary barged into the office asking him to leave. He tells him that he will send in the paperwork in a few days.
He is then approached by the same girl who invites him to a special lecture. He joined her and sat in on a talk by Teddy McDonald, who is recruiting for the CIA. He finally gets the paperwork to the advisor, but he gets rejected again, and this infuriates him. He then goes back home and is picked up by his mother. He visits the main characters, such as Jerome, Louie, Leon, and Mel.

Teddy came to visit him to recruit him into the CIA. Franklin had to decide what to do, but Teddy reminds him that will help him with his school issues. Franklin worked at a convenience store when a man came in and robbed the place. At the same time, Sergeant Andre White came in, and a shootout ensued between the two. Franklin sat through the investigation, and his mother came in to pick him up. She encourages them to go back to school, but Franklin tells her that he can’t go back to that life after what happened. He later takes an ice bath where he sees his father again.
Later, we see Jerome enters the Bottoms housing project in the middle of chaos. Gunfire ensues, and a car races out of the unit. The shootout keeps on ensuing as Skully, and his goons arrive to confront Jerome. Alton brings Franklin home from the recovery center. They later go to a meeting where they meet up with Jerome, Louie, and Leon. They begin an argument where they pursue Frank to return to the life of crime as gang wars start all over. Franklin tells him that he first needs to heal and won’t be back anytime soon.

Snowfall Season 4 Release Date
He later meets with Reed to discuss his future plans. He lets Reed know that he is CIA and offers to be his friend in exchange for his protection. Franklin will help Reed fund his war in South America. It was originally supposed to be released in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the filming had stopped. Snowfall Season 4 will now release in February 2021 on FX.
