Vijay as JD in Master

The trailer of the film was dropped this Thursday and instantly became a hot topic amongst the audiences. The fans are eager on witnessing the Vijay vs Vijay sequences, as depicted in the trailer. Master’s trailer begins with exciting background music, which is an important aspect of a film. It arises a sense of excitement and curiosity as to what the story beholds. We see glimpses of Vijay who is referred to as a ‘master’ and is tagged as an addict.

Vijay’s character JD is sent to a juvenile school for a three months teaching session, which is run by Bhavani, Vijay Sethupathi. Bhavani uses the children as his puppet for his benefit in the illegal activities. But JD doesn’t let this happen. He seems like the heart and soul of the institution and has all the students in his favor. He is a fearless and confident young professor, and the students seem to be joyous in his company and presence. JD stands for their rights, and that is something that confuses people whether he is a ‘student’ or a ‘master.’ He goes against the norms and is willing to stand in support of the students in his institute. He suddenly becomes a subject of concern in the eyes of the antagonist Bhavani and his men.

Before Vijay Sethupathi, Arjun was believed to portray the antagonist in the film but eventually, Vijay was finalized. Apart from him, there were speculations that before Malavika Mohanan bagged the role as the female lead in the film, the makers were deciding to finalize either of the three actresses amongst Kiara Advani, Raashi Khanna, and Rashmika Mandanna to play the leading lady.
