We are taken into Purgatory, a place giving off Hellish vibes while being filled with lava, volcano, and lightning. We see some creatures running away as 2 monsters keep fighting. One of them finally tears off another’s head, only a start wandering. When the demonish creature looks at lava, some memories come back. The memories were of Elaine when Ban was attempting to drink the water of life. Ban immediately wakes up from his state as he realized that going into too much despair, he had turned into a demon. And if he would have remained that state a little more, he might have become a complete demon. He realizes it has been a few decades since he has been there. And calls out fir Meliodas as he had arrived there to search for his feelings. This article will cover Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement Episode 2.
We see the typical story narration as two gods had imposed eternal life on Meliodas and eternal reincarnation on Elizabeth as curses. And so they get stuck in a predestined love bound to end with inevitable death. Elizabeth gets reincarnated again and again meanwhile, for 3000 years, Meliodas has seen Elizabeth’s death over and over again. The objective of his trip was to be able to break this curse. But Elizabeth starts regaining her memories, which meant she would die in three days. To save Elizabeth, Meliodas chooses to become the demon king and break the curse. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and the rest of the Deadly Sins begin to move to stop Meliodas. Ludociel and Elizabeth sign a contract between sigma and the Seven Deadly Sins. And the Holy War against demons resumes in which having absorbed three commandments, Estarossa loses control. He confesses his love to Elizabeth, taking her away.
Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement Episode 2 Recap
Episode 1, titled “From Purgatory” starts off with Derieri, King, Sariel, and Tarmiel chase after Estarossa. With an objective to save Elizabeth, Derieri wants revenge for Monspeet’s death. While Sariel and Tarmiel being part of the Four Archangels, look forward to avenging Mael. As they chase Estarossa, they don’t know why he took Elizabeth but only know that he is currently very large and unstable. Gowther, along with Hawk, follows them. Hawk asks why he wanted to follow them. To which Gowther says he has to do something even if it costs his life. As they reach the remains of the Holy Temple, they see a large and unstable Estarossa and an unconscious Elizabeth. Estarossa being in love with Elizabeth, is unwilling to let her out of his clutches. So all four of them simultaneously launch their attacks.
Venturing into Dark Territory
Meliodas, in order to not be disturbed, formed a Dark Territory that is impenetrable with normal methods. So, Ludociel forms a crystal in which, alongside him, Escanor, Merlin, Gilthunder, and Hendrickson venture into the Dark Territory. While they go down, Ludociel analyses each person who was with him. Merlin, the daughter of Belialuin, knew that Ludociel could enter the Dark Territory. Escanor, who was graced by Sunshine, was arrogant and annoying, but he was undoubtedly powerful and would be useful in the fight against demons. Gilthunder and Hendrickson were not useful in battle but capable of sacrificing their lives. Especially Hendrickson, who was too loyal and could also be used as a vessel. Ludociel tells others how if they enter in there, there is no going back. The only way is to kill the creator of the territory, Meliodas. Merlin says that another way would be to make Meliodas normal.
Meanwhile, at the bottom, Zeldris, along with the high-ranking demons Chandler and Cusack, await Meliodas. Meliodas is in a big eye like pod. And if they could recover the remaining curses, Meliodas will finally become the demon king. Zeldris looks forward to it as Meliodas made him a promise back a while ago.

The Strongest 6 Warriors
As they reach the ground, they are able to see the big eye in the room. But Ludociel has his eyes on Zeldris and the two high ranking demons- Chandler and Cusack. The two were masters of Zeldris and Meliodas but were not present during the Holy War. Two of them take on their demon forms and come forward as all of them faceoff with one another to fight. For a second, it seems we will have individual fights between Zeldris and Ludociel, Cusack and Merlin, and Chandler and Escanor. Zeldris claims that they will stop them from causing further interference with Meliodas. Meanwhile, Hendrickson claims as of now, the 6 present there could be the 6 strongest warriors. It was the first time Ludociel met Zeldris and Zeldris is adamant about making it the last.
Escanor swings his ax staring at the battle, in which all 3 of them are unhinged. Seeing this bothers Escanor as Chandler starts to threaten him. Merlin teleports behind them and makes use of Double Impact, but again, nothing seems to have happened. As they mock her, Merlin starts thinking. The two demons were who surpassed the 10 Commandments in strength. Chandler has a strength of 173,000, and Cusack has a strength of 168,000, both being high-level demons. As they attack her, Escanor comes to block them but is blown away. As they again charge in, Merlin snaps her fingers, dispelling a spell that blasts at them. In Merlin’s head, the most important thing is to obtain the key to recover Meliodas and not to win the battle.
Ludociel
As the two demons ask Merlin what she did to them, Ludociel takes the opportunity to blow them away. Then he proceeds towards Zeldris while claiming that his subordinates have perished. Ludociel having a battle strength of 201,000, is one of the strongest presence there. And then, he has a sword fight with Zeldris, which is interrupted by a stray attack from Cusack. Hendrickson comes to save Ludociel, but he, himself, was braced for the attack. As he heals Hendrickson, he accepts his kindness to want to protect him but asks him not to interfere. As one of the enemy’s three attacks, Ludociel uses a spell to burn them.
Meliodas’ Feelings
Having been in Purgatory for such a long time, Ban is now weak, tired, and bleeding. The pain of purgatory ties one soul, and if they go into despair, it will be their end. As then, they will become a horrible beast from the underworld. As Ban travels to find Meliodas’ feelings, he goes through cold and warm regions, climbing mountains, falling from cliffs, etc. He is even attacked by different monsters on the way. He just wants to find Meliodas and go back but now wonders how he will ever go back. That’s when he again falls off a cliff and is attacked by a dragon. Been bored for a long time, he enjoys his fight with the dragon. But after years of fighting, he is sleepy and dozes off. He wakes up in between to see the dragon had gotten attached to him.
So, as he proceeds to sleep again, he says he asks to quickly get back with Meliodas as everyone has been working hard on the other side. And even he wants to see his love again as soon as possible. That’s when a voice says, “Yes, me too”. Ban wakes up immediately but sees that the dragon is nowhere around but finds a sleeping Meliodas beside him. Ban wakes him up, asking how he feels. Meliodas just hugs Ban while shouting and crying.

Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement Episode 2, titled “Encounter with the Unknown” will see Meliodas and Ban reunite. After Ban has finally found Meliodas, they must get back to reality. Ban has to get back and revive Elaine while Meliodas must lift the curse off Elizabeth. We will follow up on their journey as they encounter the unknown terrain together. We may even see a continuation of the battle between Zeldris, Chandler, Cusack, Merlin, Escanor, and Ludociel. What powers they will make use of, and who takes the upper hand. There might even be a follow up to the events taking place at the Holy Temple.
